Trudy was born inLong Beach California on September 28, 1967 and raised in Idabel, Oklahoma.  She worked her way through the University Of Oklahoma, while obtaining a degree in Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Regional and City Planning.  She is still an avid University of Oklahoma Sooners football fan with all due respect to the Southeastern Football Conference.

Trudy moved to Nashville in 1993.  She graduated from the Nashville School of Law in 1999. While she was attending the Nashville School of Law, Trudy worked with the District Attorney's Office in Nashville for the indictment team and the domestic violence unit. She also worked for a prestigious Nashville law firm working in the area of social security claims and workers compensation.  Additionally, she worked for the Honorable Jerry Smith, Judge of the Court of Criminal Appeals, where she gained an incredible insight into the criminal appellate practice.

After law school, Trudy worked in the areas of child support enforcement and became extremely knowledgeable in the areas of contempt proceedings and child support modification. Trudy had a short stint doing insurance defense work but she saw how greedy the insurance companies were and how they denied the injured citizens their fair share of compensation.  Her principals would not allow her to maintain that employment.  After that period of time, she worked in the public defender's office in Franklin for the 21st Judicial District, serving the City of Fairview and the Counties of Hickman, Perry, Lewis and Williamson where she had many jury trials and contested matters.

After leaving the public defender's office, Trudy has devoted herself to representing ordinary citizens in various matters focusing her practice on probate, personal injury law, family law and criminal defense.  Trudy has also handled additional matters including collections and landlord and tenant disputes.

Trudy would welcome the opportunity to offer you a free consultation to discuss your rights and remedies in the judicial system.
